For Fall Fashion 2011 we wanted to build on classic styles with modern trends. A fitting Jackie O. black dress left the 1960s with a flashy silver belt. A white blouse and high waisted skirt went from old news to today’s posh look with an elegant,elongated bow. We paired those simple pieces you can’t live without with funky heels, colored scarves, felt hats and a few jewels.
Throughout the shoot we were conscious of lines. Photographer Rodrigo DeMedeiros wanted the clothing to complement the beautiful architecture of Novelty Hill Januik Winery in Woodinville. For one particular shot we stood under a wood plank cover waiting for the sun to cast lines on the model. That was the inspiration for the cover line "timeless fashion with modern lines.”
