Who says Easter egg hunts are for kids? Kirkland’s Lady Yum is proving grown-ups can indeed hunt for the tiny treasures too.
From now until April 16, Lady Yum will be hiding golden plastic eggs throughout downtown Kirkland — from the library to Marina Park and Heritage Park to Ben & Jerry’s.
Inside each egg, hunters will be spared the stale jelly beans and hard boiled eggs their kids bring home and will instead find assorted coupon prizes like a free macaron or a champagne party at Lady Yum.
However, one lucky hunter will find the large, sparkly green egg containing one free macaron a day for life.
Update: Due to the overwhelming response to the egg hunt, Lady Yum has hidden more eggs of varying color.
