The 2012 Northwest Idea House was unveiled to the public at a ticketed party on Thursday, Sept. 27. The home, owned by Tod and Kristen Sakai, was built and designed by their company, Sockeye Homes. Guests toured the home and enjoyed live music, with wines from Terra Blanca Winery, beer from 7 Seas Brewery, food from Toscanos Cafe and Wine Bar, coffee from Forza and more. Special thanks to our wonderful partners: Sockeye Homes; Albert Lee; PinkaBella; Toscanos; Erik Eklund (pianist); Mille Fiori (Maria Sessler, florist); Forza; LUWA; Valet Parking Services; Oh Chocolate; Terra Blanca; Chambers Bay; 7 Seas Brewery; Ticket raffle sales benefited Vine Maple Place, a local non-profit dedicated to helping homeless families with children transition to permanent housing.
