3 to See: A Midsomer Festival, Art Walk, and Mini Circus

Midsomer with Camlann Medieval Village

It’s believed that Midsomer festivities began as a way for young maidens to find and ensnare suitors — and if that doesn’t scream Hot Girl Summer, what does? Young maiden or not, the Camlann Medieval Village invites all to party like it’s 1376 at its Midsomer Festival, a weekend of old-world crafts, magic, and feasts fit for a king.

A Promenade in the Name of Art

After a year of canceled exhibitions and programming, who isn’t positively itching to take in some much-needed art? Enter Redmond’s own APex (Artists Personal exchange) and its Downtown Art Walk, a free guided tour of local art. Meet neighbors, discover public art installations, and revisit the art hubs and venues that have begun to reopen their doors.

Skate Park Mini Circus

It takes guts to kick skaters out of a skate park, but what are circus performers if not fearless? Join the performers of Chrysalis Circus as they take over the Redmond Skate Park for a half-hour “mini circus” this Sunday, June 20. Enjoy trapeze work, juggling, and more in an event made possible with support from the City of Redmond 2021 Arts Season Grant and 4Culture.
