3 to See: Artists of Pride, Children’s Programming, and a Father’s Day Contest

Meet the Eastside’s LGBTQIA Artists

Just in time for Pride, Centro Cultural Mexicano presents “Rainbow on the Eastside,” a group gallery show for Eastside LGBTQIA artists. Running through June 26, this exhibition spotlights experiences of queer artists like Mary Dispenza, Wing Mui, and many others throughout East King County and the Snoqualmie Valley.

Do You Want To Build a Sculpture?

Artist Tina Velazquez Hays’ public art projects are focused on community wellness and low-barrier art engagement opportunities. This Saturday, she’s opening her process to Issaquah’s youth. In this free art workshop made possible by 4Culture, children are invited to create their own personalized sculptures at the Confluence Park Picnic Shelter.

In It To Win It

Father’s Day is just around the corner, and what better way to make Dad proud than to win big? Enter for the chance at $300 worth of swag from The Landing In Renton. Now through June 16, one Instagram follower who comments on what they’d like to get their father for Father’s Day will be randomly selected for the prize. Feeling lucky?
