3 to See: Fashion, Running, and Champagne

Alicia Peru Anniversary Party

Bellevue-based Alicia Peru’s fair trade fashions and accessories mix luxury and sustainability. This Thursday, the boutique will throw a 1-year anniversary party at their downtown Bellevue store. From 4 to 8 p.m., you can sip Pisco Sours and nosh on sweet and savory Peruvian canapes from Seattle’s Pink Salt Magnolia. While you’re there, browse their unique selection and get a live demo on how to wrap their luxurious alpaca shawls. You can also enter to win dinner for two, a bottle of Pisco, or a signature shawl of your own.

Snohomish River Run

Registration is still open for the Snohomish River Run, which features two days of scenic races. Catch views of the Snohomish River and the fall foliage in all its glory during the 5k or 10k run (Saturday) or a full or half marathon (Sunday). All routes are relatively flat, and a portion of each race entry will benefit Girls on the Run Snohomish County.

Champagne Day: A Féla Fête

On Sunday, Palmwine Experience will host a tribute to eminent composer and afrobeat pioneer Féla Anikulapo Kuti. A cocktail hour begins at 5 p.m. at Bellevue’s speakeasy-inspired lounge Civility & Unrest. The night will celebrate afro-contemporary fashion, music, and lifestyle and feature a variety of afropop beats. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at Eventbrite.
