3 to See: Hikes, Casinos, and Scavenger Hunts

Take Dad Up, Up, and Away

Starting June 19 the Mount Rainier Gondola will reopen after being closed since March due to COVID-19. Head to Crystal Mountain this weekend and take dad on a scenic ride up 2,400 feet to the summit where you can take in the spectacular views of the Cascades and hike, picnic, and take a lot of photos! Make sure to purchase tickets in advance online, and learn more here.

Feeling Lucky?

Maybe you’ll hit the jackpot this weekend. Both the Snoqualmie and Tulalip casinos (and several others in the Pacific Northwest) are now open. Safety measures like limited gaming floor capacity, masks, lots of hand sanitizer, and social distancing is being implemented. There could be waits to get in (so bring snacks and your earbuds or a book) due to safety measures. More here.

Go on a Scavenger Hunt

Let’s Roam makes going on a scavenger hunt in your city (or in your own home) easy with an app and your phone. Local trivia, riddles, and clues will lead you to where you need to go. Each city scavenger activity will take about two hours of walking. Explore Bellevue, Seattle, Tacoma and more. This is a great activity for kids, too. More here.
