3 to See: Issaquah Concert, Craft with BAM, School Supplies for Girls

Last “Concerts on the Screen”

The City of Issaquah moved this year’s originally planned “Concerts on the Green” series to a virtual “Concerts on the Screen.” This Friday, Aug. 28, is the last date. Catch Kalimba and Spirit of Earth, Wind and Fire on ICTV Channel 21, or stream it on the City of Issaquah’s YouTube channel. Learn more here.

Get Crafty with BAM

The Bellevue Arts Museum (BAM) might be closed, but every weekend, patrons are encouraged to get crafty with the museum’s help. A new video is posted on the BAM website every Saturday with a tutorial, supply list, and step by step instructions. The next post is slated for Aug. 29. Why not make something new while at home this summer? Check it out on the BAM website.

Back to School Supply Bash for Young Women

Regardless of where your student is learning this year, make sure she’s ready with the right supplies. The Project Girl Mentoring program is hosting its annual Back to School Bash, drive-thru style this Saturday, Aug. 29. Free for young women and girls in middle through high school, volunteers will be bringing school and personal supplies to your car, so everyone can start the year right. Take a look at the Facebook page for more information.
