Carnival, Cars, and Beyond
Each summer, the community of Snohomish comes together to celebrate what makes their slice of the world unique in the Kla Ha Ya Days Festival, a four-day event that, this year, includes a carnival, car show, and salmon bake. Support local commerce, brush elbows with friends old and new, and enjoy the beauty of Snohomish through July 18. Tickets can be purchased in advance here.
For those not quite ready to venture into the world of in-person events, join the Bellevue Arts Museum this Saturday for a virtual art auction. The annual Artful Evening auction and gala celebrates the work of Northwest craftsmen and artists while raising money for future exhibits and educational programs. In addition to supporting the museum and regional artists, the auction also will raise money for Big Table, a nonprofit aiding restaurant and hospitality workers, and the Centro Cultural Mexicano, an organization connecting communities through art and providing legal, rental, and educational assistance to Latinx communities in the region. Learn more about registering for the event here.
