3 to See: Live Music, Recycling, and Yoga

A Live Show from the Kirkland Performance Center

The Kirkland Performance Center has been hosting virtual concerts for the last few months in lieu of conventional programming. Tonight at 8 p.m., local musician Byron Prather will be performing a set. The show can be watched on FacebookYouTube, or Twitch. More information about the Prather show and other upcoming virtual performances can be found on the KPC website.

Fall Recycling Event

Renton’s fall recycle event is back this Saturday, Sept. 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Renton residents are encouraged to bring all accepted recyclable materials to the Renton Technical College North Parking Lot for the drive-through event. The event will remain contactless as staff will retrieve the recyclables from your car trunk or truck bed. Face masks are required. Check out this link to see the list of accepted materials.
