3 to See: Summer Music, a Cooking Class, and Wag ‘N Walk

Bellevue Summer Music Series

The Bellevue Downtown Association’s Live at Lunch summer program became a music streaming series this year in light of COVID-19. Even though the summer is coming to an end, the beat goes on as the organization continues to stream shows from local musicians every Wednesday and Thursday through Sept. 17. Each show link is shared every week on the association’s Facebook page. You can also check out the weekly performance lineup here.

Cooking with Class

Spice up your dinner routine next week by joining the Pike Place Market Foundation’s 19th annual Cooking with Class event. Learn new recipes and get wine-pairing tips from three Seattle chefs. The class will be streamed on the foundation’s Facebook page and YouTube channel on Thursday, Sept. 10, at 6 p.m. You can explore your culinary talents by choosing to cook alongside the chefs or take notes for later. For more information on how to participate, visit here.

Wag ‘N Walk

Wag ‘N Walk invites all dogs and their owners to participate in a virtual 3K walk and pet show later this month. Head to Lake Sammamish State Park to walk the scenic 3K course. Show off your pet’s looks and talents in the pet show, too! Participants must register and send a photo under the selected category of best-dressed, smallest dog, best eyes, dog/owner look-alike, best voice, or best trick. Best entries will be posted on Facebook for a vote. Prizes will be awarded in every category. Every registered walker and shower will be entered into a raffle prize as well.
