3 to See: Thanksgiving Crafts, the Turkey Trot, and a Holiday Spectacular

Holiday Spectacular

The Landing in Renton will transform into a drive-through holiday paradise for this year’s Holiday Spectacular. On Saturday evening, vehicles can enter near North 10th Street and pass by a show of live music, laser lights, holiday characters like Santa and his Elves, the Gingerbread Man, Frosty the Snowman, and more. Check here for more details.

Turkey Trot

Walk, trot, or run through seven different routes throughout Sammamish and Issaquah over Thanksgiving weekend. The annual Turkey Trot is changing things up this year by having multiple routes ready for participants across several days. The aim is still the same, though: proceeds from tickets go to the Issaquah Food and Clothing Bank. See more information and register on the Turkey Trot website.

Thanksgiving Craft Kits

The Sammamish Arts Commission will set up at Sammamish City Hall to pass out Thanksgiving craft kits for kids on Monday, Nov. 23. The kits consist of instructions and tools and will be picked up on a first-come, first-served basis. To post photos of your creation and get involved, see the Thanksgiving Craft Kit Facebook event page.
