3 to See: Week of Feb. 14

A KonMari 101 Class

We’re obsessed, you’re obsessed, everyone is obsessed with Marie Kondo’s Tidying Up on Netflix, a TV series that encourages viewers to simplify their lives and rid their spaces of anything that doesn’t “spark joy.” From 6:30-8 p.m. on Feb. 20 at The Riveter Bellevue, the Pacific Northwest’s first certified KonMari Tidying Consultant, Sue Bollinger, will share tips on home organization, with a focus on what to keep and what to toss.

Murder Mystery Dinner

A social fascination with crime documentaries and serial killer profiles has been trending on TV and even with a subscription box (we’re not kidding), but from 6-9 p.m. on Feb. 15 at Maggiano’s in Bellevue, it’s your chance for an immersive murder mystery — sans danger. The event includes a family-style dinner, a drink ticket, and an immersive game of murder. Tickets are $65.

Snowshoeing Mt. Rainier National Park

Truly enjoy the winter wonderland with an REI-led snowshoe hike through Mount Rainier National Park with views of Mt. Rainer, Mt. Adams, Mt. St. Helens, and the Tatoosh Range. The event takes from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 17. Snowshoes and poles will be provided and lunch will be catered by a local bakery. Transportation also is provided to and from the park trailhead. Tickets and information are available here.
