3 to See: Week of May 2

A Beginner’s Camping Workshop

As we get further into spring, the sun seems to shine more throughout the day, and it’s becoming perfect camping weather. If camping sounds intriguing, but you aren’t sure where to start, consider attending REI’s camping workshop on May 4. It will take attendees through the basics of setting up a tent and selecting the best equipment. Limited spots are available, so register now.

Overcome the Seattle Freeze

Making friends as a newcomer to the area is hard, especially outside of your work circle, which is why Third Culture Coffee is hosting an event by Seattle Transplant, a group that aims to help Seattle newbies connect with others. Enjoy a beverage, make some new friends, and find ways to participate in the community during this May 5 event. More information can be found here.
