Annual Belgian Beer Festival on Jan. 25

Raise a glass to the 11th year of the Washington Beer Commission’s Belgian Fest, featuring more than 100 Belgian-style beers produced by local craft breweries. Hosted at the Seattle Center in the Fisher Pavilion, it’s an opportunity to sample traditional styles like tripels, dubbels, abbeys, saisons, and Wits and Lambics, all brewed with Belgian yeast, as interpreted by our talented Pacific Northwest brewers. If all those beers seem unfamiliar, it’s a great opportunity to learn about these styles and methods. A variety of food and snack vendors will be in attendance. This 21+ event is divided into two identical sessions (afternoon and evening) to ensure enough sips for everyone. Tickets are $37 in advance, and limited tickets will be available at the door for $45. This includes a 4-ounce tasting glass and 10 tasting tokens; designated driver admission is $5, which includes soda and/or water. More details on washingtonbeer.com.
