Eastside AT&T customers looking to enhance and upgrade their digital devices now have a new retail option, the AT&T entertainment Store.
This new retail concept, which aims to connect customers to a range of video, internet, and wireless products under one roof, opened in January at The Village at Totem Lake in Kirkland. The 3,500-square-foot store is larger than traditional AT&T stores, and it is the first of its kind to open in the Pacific Northwest.
Visitors to the new store may notice smartphone devices have been moved off the walls and onto tables in the center of the room to allow customers to more easily compare devices, as well as explore popular connected devices, such as AR glasses, tablets, and smartwatches. The store also offers an expanded lineup of accessories, and showcases offerings from DIRECTV and DIRECTV NOW.
“Our customers’ needs and shopping trends are evolving and we are evolving along with them,” said AT&T Pacific Northwest vice president and general manager Mike Maxwell. “Our new Kirkland store represents how serious we are about the intersection of content and connectivity. We look forward to welcoming customers into the first entertainment store in the Pacific Northwest.”
AT&T plans to open approximately 35 entertainment stores in other locations this year.
