Seattle Seahawk Russell Wilson and former New York Yankee Alex Rodriquez have teamed up with local entrepreneurs to bring the innovative TruFusion fitness studios to Bellevue.
Located in Lincoln Square South off Bellevue Way, right across from Bellevue Square, the new Bellevue studio will mark the first Washington location for the group fitness and yoga brand. Two additional studios are scheduled to open in the Seattle area during the summer. Over the next few years, more than 10 locations are expected to open across the state.
The 10,000-plus-square-foot venues will feature a unique blend of yoga, circuits, Pilates, kettlebell, barre, boot camp, boxing, TRX, and other classes, allowing members to customize their experience based on their interests and fitness level.
“Mind, body, and soul are the ingredients for success. I’ve always believed in making health and fitness a priority in life, as well as opening your mind to positive and limitless thoughts. This studio inspires you to put in the work to achieve your goals,” Wilson said.
Added Washington co-founder Taryn Naidu, “Every TruFusion I’ve been to has a powerful community, and I knew right away I wanted to bring this to Washington. We have assembled an unmatched ownership group, which also includes other top CEOs and executives right here in Washington. We are bringing the future of group fitness to our state, for casual athletes and elite athletes alike.”
In addition to sports stars Wilson and Rodriguez, TruFusion is being brought to Washington by an ownership group led by investor/entrepreneur Naidu, the former CEO of Rightside Group, which he sold in 2017; and Scott Swerland, an entrepreneur who runs a portfolio of 90-plus retail locations that include Urban Float and Seattle Sun Tan Group.
