Bring on the Specialty Bourbon at Lot No. 3

A few weeks ago the Heavy Restaurant Group bar team traveled to the Jim Beam distillery in Kentucky to hand select a few barrels of Knob Creek bourbon.

“Our team chose two very different barrels and both will be bottled exclusively for us and sold at Lot No. 3 beginning in 3 to 5 weeks,” said David Yusen, director of marketing and public relations for Heavy Restaurant Group. “One of the barrels was full of herbaceous tobacco notes, while the other was a perfect dessert bourbon with hints of caramel.”

Lot No. 3 in Bellevue is one of several restaurants in the Heavy Restaurant Group family on the Eastside and Seattle. Lot No. 3 serves a variety of comfort foods paired with classic cocktails. It’s no secret that we are in love with their Plate O’ Bacon appetizer. Their chicken and waffles and mac and cheese also take our breath away. And again, anytime you want to put that amazing bacon on let’s say a PB&J slider, we are game, too. Bring on the bourbon to wash it all down!
