If you’ve ever hankered for something more substantial than a box of Junior Mints in the middle of a movie at the theater, the newest addition at Lincoln Square will satisfy that craving.
While the Cinemark Reserve Lincoln Square has a perfectly adequate concession stand full of hot buttery popcorn and the kind of massively oversized fountain drinks synonymous with movie theaters, that’s not what makes this venue different from others of its kind.
Rather, Cinemark Reserve is a 21-and-over theater with six sprawling auditoriums filled with plush reclining seats that have attached trays ready for seat-side delivery of gourmet appetizers — like flatbreads, salads, sandwiches, quesadillas, and fish tacos — prepared fresh in the on-site kitchen.
Guests that arrive early can wait for their scheduled show time by grabbing a beer or cocktail at the venue’s on-site bar or lounge on the third floor balcony with a view of Downtown Bellevue Park.
“We’re looking forward to offering the downtown Bellevue community a brand new, state-of-the-art, luxury movie-going experience,” said Cinemark CEO Mark Zorad in a statement. “This is our second theater in Kemper Development’s beautiful Lincoln Square, giving our guests a choice to dine at their seats, enjoy a relaxing dinner in our lobby lounge, or grab a craft beer on the terrace after work.”
