Two Bellevue Nonprofits Partnering with National Charity League for Clothing Drive

It’s often said that when you look your best, you feel your best.

F-factor and Ruby Room strongly believe in this mantra and strive to make this a reality for local foster youths every year. If 2020 were a normal year, F-factor would host their signature back-to-school fashion workshop for foster youths to find their style with brand new clothes.

However, due to COVID-19, the two Bellevue-based nonprofits are partnering with the National Charity League’s Seattle chapter to host a back-to-school clothing drive in lieu of the workshop. This year, F-factor needs your help finding new or like-new pants, hoodies, shoes, and hygiene masks so fostered youths may confidently, and fashionably, start the school year.

Contactless donations will take place at the Ruby Room boutique on Aug. 14 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Aug. 15 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Aug. 20 from 12 to 2 p.m., and Aug. 23 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Donators are required to wear masks.
