Culinary excellence with an old-fashioned feel: The Stovehouse at Suncadia

A new restaurant at the Suncadia Resort in Cle Elum promises to deliver patrons to a simpler time. With belt a buckle railing, brindle cowhide bars, worn leather countertops, and décor shrouded in rich browns and grays, The Stovehouse feels like it was transported to the hotel from a sepia-toned era.

The new restaurant was intended to pay homage to the area’s rich coal-mining history, but with modern amenities and flavors.

The menu boasts classic comfort foods, like beef brisket with country bread or a rabbit pot pie, but there’s no lack of current trends, such as rotating vegan options and sustainably sourced seafood.

Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, The Stovehouse is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. It is located on the main level of The Inn at Suncadia. Visit thestovehouserestaurant.com for more information.
