Design Competition for Fashion Week

This September, The Shops at The Bravern’s inaugural Fashion Week will be paired with a design competition that will earn a designer a VIP pass to the week’s events and $1,000. Students of art, fashion, and design, as well as independent designers, are encouraged to submit unique designs to the competition by midnight on July 22.

The submissions, which will be reviewed by a panel of guest judges at the end of July, should be digital designs related to art, fashion, and The Shops at the Bravern. The winning design will be featured on The Bravern Fashion Week tote bag.

“The concept for this competition was born out of our understanding that design, art and fashion are woven together, each making the other more rich and vibrant,” said Stephanie Jiang, Director of Marketing at The Shops at The Bravern. “We wanted to create a platform that would inspire others to appreciate this undeniable connection and are thrilled to see what all of the talented artists present.”

Jiang also noted that the competition is a great way to showcase an artist’s creativity and provide them with some financial support.
