Known as “Dumpling Heaven” to fans, the popular Washington restaurant, Dough Zone Dumpling House, will be opening a new location at The Landing in Renton.
Dough Zone is known for its Chinese-style steamed buns and soup dumplings, such as the pan-fried pork bun called Q-bao. These buns are described as soft on the top with a crispy crust on the bottom on Dough Zone’s website.
“We take great pride in the unique way we have combined modern cooking techniques with ancient Chinese traditions to create mouth-watering dishes we are sure the people of Renton and its neighboring communities will enjoy and appreciate,” Jason Zhai, owner of Dough Zone, stated in a press release from The Landing.
The new 4,031 square-foot restaurant joins over 70 other retailers, restaurants, entertainment venues, and service providers at The Landing. Dough Zone will be located near WildFin American Grill when it is scheduled to open in October.
