Bloodworks Northwest is teaming up with Bellevue Brewing for a “pint for a pint” program. Donors who register to donate blood from Sept. 12-17 will receive a voucher to Bellevue Brewing’s taproom. Vouchers are good for one pint.
“It’s exciting for us to partner with Bellevue’s first craft brewer to encourage more people to donate blood, and to ensure that our area hospitals are well supplied,” said Clint Kendrick, senior director of donor services.
The Bellevue Donor Center collects donations that help treat cancer patients, help trauma victims, and also help those receiving organ or bone marrow transplants. Bloodworks Northwest is the sole blood provider for the Eastside, with donations going to EvergreenHealth, Overlake Medical Center, Swedish, Group Health, Virginia Mason, and Seattle Children’s.
Stop by the Bloodworks Bellevue Donor Center at 1807 132nd Ave Northeast. Vouchers are for those 21 and over. Schedule an appointment by calling 800.398.7888 or online at bloodworksNW.org/schedule.
