Saturday, January 13 - Sunday, January 14
8:30 am - 1:00 pm
Eastside Audubon Society, Seattle Audubon, and Leica Bellevue will host Noah Strycker on both Saturday, January 13th and Sunday, January 14th. Noah Strycker, a world-renowned and record-setting Big Year birder, will lead photo-walks and host the monthly Coffee, Cameras & Conversation event. Strycker is known for seeing 6,042 of the world’s estimated 10,400 bird species spanning all seven continents in one calendar year.
For the walks, groups will meet at 8:30 AM in the morning on both days at Magnuson Park in the southern-most parking lot south of the boat launch where NE 65th St becomes Lake Shore Drive NE. There will be numerous Leica Sport Optics available for use during the walk.
Saturday’s walk will be in conjunction with Seattle Audubon to participate in their official monthly bird census.
At 1 PM on both days, the Leica Store Bellevue will host Noah’s “Birding Without Borders” presentation, during which he will share his photos and adventures from his worldwide record-breaking Big Year.
There will be copies of Noah’s third and most recently released book, “Birding Without Borders”, for sale in the store for him to sign, and framed bird photographs Noah made during his Big Year will be on display and for sale in the store.
