Seattle, WA (March 1, 2017)—More than 275 artists from across the US and Canada responded to CoCA’s call for members to display their work at the Pioneer Square gallery in the upcoming exhibition, Make America Create Again. This year’s theme explores joyous creativity and freedom of expression in the new political era and was juried by Deborah Paine, Senior Curator and Collections Manager at Seattle’s Office of Arts and Culture.

CoCA will feature more than 120 artists in an explosion of creative expression during March and April. Doors open in March for a festival style show featuring dance, spoken word, musicians and video artists starting on Thursday, March 2 at 10:30am and extend through Pioneer Square Artwalk from 6-9pm. See below for schedule of additional performance and video art on display through March 4. The gallery will be closed from March 5-31 for a minor remodel then open again to the public on April 6 to showcase over 105 traditional 2D and 3D works from floor to ceiling. All current artist members will be presented in a digital slideshow during both months and can be viewed now on CoCA’s Online Member Directory, a free benefit for artist members that enhances online networking in a global contemporary art field. All 277 participating members will also be part of their annual members’ catalog.
