Everett’s Bluewater Distillery Expands its Distribution Reach

Fans of Bluewater Distilling in Everett are about to have an easier time tracking down their favorite organic spirits. The distillery announced a new relationship with Columbia Distributing in Washington and Oregon, which will result in a wider reach for the Bluewater brand.

Though it’s difficult to say which new stores or restaurants Bluewater will be available in, Bluewater’s Chief Brand Officer Samantha Hill said the distributor has relationships with Safeway, Fred Meyer, and QFC — retailers where Bluewater currently isn’t sold.

“After a decade of building a strong foundation for the Bluewater brand, we are proud to become part of Columbia Distributing’s family of brands in Washington and Oregon,” said John Lundin, founder and CEO of Bluewater Distilling. “… For us this relationship means more than just sales and delivering products — it’s about strategically partnering with a distributor with shared values, allowing us to expand our reach to conscious consumers in broader markets.”

The partnership became effective earlier this month, and Hill said most of Bluewater’s liquors will be distributed by Columbia, with the exception of its limited vodka infusions. Current Bluewater carriers can be found here.
