There’s a lot happening around town that will get you in the holiday spirit. From Snowflake Lane to Garden d’Lights, here’s a holiday starter pack.
The streets fill with toy soldiers and snow creatures all dancing in a parade that features falling snow. Shows commence each night at 7 p.m. and continue through Christmas Eve.
Visit The Theatre at Meydenbauer Center for any number of holiday performances. Be sure to check out the classic holiday ballet The Nutcracker performed by Evergreen City Ballet and International Ballet Theatre.
Walk through beautiful lights at Bellevue Botanical Garden. Each night from 4:30-9 p.m., more than half a million lights transform the flowers and bushes at the garden. Admission is $5, but children 10 and under are free.
Vivo 53 makes exorbitant sundaes and they’re adapting them for the holiday season. Try the Peppermint Caramel Holiday Sundae — caramel corn, salted caramel ice cream, tiramisu, peppermint bark, chocolate-covered espresso beans, peppermint sticks, and, on top of all that, a chocolate drizzle.
The Bellevue Collection’s Celebration Lane
That’s right, the party continues after Snowflake Lane closes on Christmas Eve! Visit the Bellevue Collection for a salute to the New Year from Dec. 26-31.
