The Burke Museum in Seattle reopened recently after having closed due to the coronavirus, and it’s a great opportunity to have an immersive, educational experience with one’s family.
After prepurchasing tickets online, visitors can head to the third floor to examine dinosaur and plant fossils. Or start on the first floor, where art from six Pacific Northwest tribes is on display. The co-curators of the native art gallery — all of whom are native women — offer insights about their cultures and journeys as artists. burkemuseum.org
