Buy One Bottle, Feed Two

Eye of the Needle Winery’s 12th Blend — a medium-body combo of cabernet and merlot — not only helps you show your Seahawks spirit with every pour, but a portion of the proceeds benefits Northwest Harvest. Now that’s a win-win.

The partnership is better known as the Bottles for Bread campaign. With every 12th Blend bottle sold, two meals are donated to Northwest Harvest. In the course of the last six years, the winery has provided 200,000 meals to hungry Washington families. A bottle is $15.

This year, the Eye of the Needle in Woodinville also is offering Sack Packs that include the wine, a reusable tote, and two glasses. If you want the pack, you have to pick it up direct from the winery. If you get it, the winery will donate four meals to Northwest Harvest.

This wine is award-winning goodness in a glass. Wine Press Northwest gave it a Double Gold, and the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition named it Best in Class. It goes well with just about anything, especially tailgating and football-friendly fare like grilled meats and obviously, nachos and loaded potato skins.
