Farmers Market Openings & Shopping Healthy for Fresh Goods

As of press time, the Redmond Saturday Market was scheduled to reopen on July 4 in a new location, at the Overlake Christian Church parking lot at 9900 Willows Road N.E. in the D parking lot (customer parking in Lot C). Hours will be Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and like other markets, it will be selling fresh produce, prepackaged foods, flower bouquets, as well as handmade hygiene products like soaps and face masks. Visit its site for more details: redmondsaturdaymarket.org.

Be aware there are distancing practices in place to minimize crowding; markets respectfully ask all shoppers to wear a mask, prepare a grocery list ahead of time, and minimize one’s shopping time to help maintain health safety as well as keep the flow of shoppers at an efficient pace. Check each market’s website for additional details, as some have the option to prepurchase produce boxes for pickup.
