Feel Good Friday: Masks, Winter Celebrations, and A Sneak Peek

Buy a Mask, Give a Mask

Bellevue mom Felicia Gregg and her daughter Shelby have been making masks at their home since spring and are the duo behind Maskshionistas. “We donate one mask for every mask we sell,” said Felicia. They also make matching masks for dolls and bandanas for pets. They sell their adorable creations on their Etsy shop and from their porch.

Salish Tree Lighting and Candy Cane Lane

Drive though Candy Cane Lane from 6-8 p.m. on Dec. 6 at Salish Lodge. Santa’s elves will hand out hot chocolate and candy canes. Or head to Facebook at 6 p.m. Dec. 6 to watch the tree lighting from home. Shop The Country Store, too: 10 percent of proceeds on Dec. 5-6 (not including gift certificates) will benefit Encompass NW, a North Bend nonprofit that supports children and their families.

Kenmore’s Winter Celebrations

In lieu of a live ceremony, Kenmore is hosting a virtual tree lighting Dec. 4 on Facebook. Learn about the city’s other winter celebrations through Dec. 12 and share your photos by using #kenmorecelebrates on social media. Head to the city’s website to make submissions.
