Get Net Smart with Boys & Girls Club

Boys and Girls Clubs of America partnered with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in 2000 to create NetSmartz, an online educational safety resource for kids, teens, parents and educators. In the month of November, Boys and Girls Clubs of Bellevue will host weekly Internet Essentials Training for members and their families, and Internet Safety Nights will be held on Nov. 5-9 to encourage safe dialogue between kids and parents. These safety nights will utilize interactive games to teach basic Internet safety and combat risks associated with the Internet, including cyber bullying and predators.
