Senior living community Aegis Lodge in Kirkland will host a clothing exchange to benefit the Somaly Mam Foundation from Oct. 25 through Nov. 25. The foundation is raising funds to build a safe home, The Lotus House, for young girls ages 5-14 in Cambodia who are survivors of sex trafficking. Drop off your gently worn clothes (ladies only) to the Aegis Lodge and pay a $10 drop off/donation fee (tax deductible receipts will be provided). Come back on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 to shop and show your support; from 10am to 4pm you will be provided with a large bag to pack in as much as you can fit for $30! There will also be a Holiday Bazaar on Nov. 30 from 4-8pm, where vendors will donate a portion of their profits to the Somaly Mam Foundation. To learn more about the Somaly Mam Foundation visit here.
