After over 90,000 acts of kindness were recorded in one week, mayor of Louisville, KY, Greg Fischer proclaimed his city the most compassionate in the world. Seattle has accepted the challenge, and organizations like Compassionate Seattle, Talking Rain, and the United Way of King County have launched the Seattle Compassion Games in an effort to promote acts of kindness and service and prove that Seattle is the most compassionate city of them all. How to play? Perform an act of kindness, no matter how small, and simply register online. There is still time to make your kindness count, the event lasts through Oct. 21.
