Ivar’s Expands to Issaquah

On Oct. 25, Ivar’s Seafood Restaurants & Chowder is opening its first Issaquah location. The new Eastside restaurant will be the company’s 22nd Seafood Bar.

“Although, we’ve made a concerted effort to remodel and rejuvenate more established stores, our last new store opening was five years ago in Bothell,” said Carl Taylor, director of operations for Ivar’s Seafood Bars. “We’ll continue to open new stores in areas we don’t currently serve. When searching for our next location, we wanted to continue offering our seafood fare to those east of Seattle, and Issaquah seemed like a perfect fit.”

The 2,500-square-foot Issaquah location will serve up Ivar’s wild Alaska true cod fish ‘n chips, jumbo prawns, wild Alaska salmon chowders, and more. The restaurant seats 83, including room outside on the sidewalk patio.

The new restaurant is located at 6150 E. Sammamish Pkwy. S.E. in Issaquah. Grand opening info can be found here.
