Take a Quick Trip to Unwind at a Camano Island Farm

Sometimes a quick day trip is all you need to refresh and reset, and we know a perfect place to go — Kristoferson Farm on Camano Island. This sixth-generation farm is where historic beauty meets modern amenities to equal fun for the whole family.

Put away your smartphones and hit the farm for some real life adventures — like zip lining, pop-up dinners, and this summer — lavender-crafting workshops.

Camano Island is about 60 miles north of Seattle.

“Our guests who come to zip line, dine or explore the challenge course really love the farm and island experience,” said Mona Campbell. “It’s the stories, history, hyper local ingredients and slice of local life that makes a day at Kristoferson Farm so special, so this year we crafted experiences according to these themes.”

Start making your summer plans now:

  • Plan an Island Adventure. Book an inclusive day trip curated by the Kristoferson family. It includes round-trip transportation from Seattle; Camano Island Coffee with freshly baked scones made with lavender from the farm; a zip line adventure through the forest; and an island-sourced lunch prepared by local chef Donna King of Cama Beach Café. Cost: $149 per person, preregistration required.
  • Lavender-Crafting Workshops. The farm is full of fresh lavender in June and July and the folks at the farm will show you how to use it to make wands, soaps, and even ice cream! The workshops are on select Fridays and Sundays for $40 per person from June 15-July 22.
  • Pop-up Dinner Series.  Imagine having dinner at a long table in the middle of a restored 100-year-old barn. You can on select dates June through October.
