Dr. Edward Hallowell, an ADHD expert, will lecture at the Every Child Resource Fair on Oct. 17.
The resource fair will feature experts in autism, ADD, and other spectrum learning differences. It will be held at the University of Washington’s Husky Union Building.
From 7-9 p.m., Hallowell will present a lecture titled The Power and Gifts of ADHD. There will be a question-and-answer period following the lecture.
Hallowell will discuss the brain science that is behind ADHD, the impact it has on families, and the directions current research is going. He has more than 30 years of experience in the field.
Registration is encouraged. Tickets for the lecture are $25 presale or $30 at the door. The resource fair from 5-7 p.m. is free. The first 150 attendees at the fair will receive a free pass to the Pacific Science Center.
