Perched on a bluff overlooking the Columbia River Gorge in Goldendale, Maryhill is a popular destination for the wine-concert crowd during the summer. The winery produces more than 50 wines from more than 30 grape varietals, many sold at a great price point. With tasting rooms in Spokane and now Vancouver, Maryhill announced plans to open a tasting room in Woodinville later this year.
The Maryhill tasting room will occupy nearly 10,000 square feet in the Hollywood Schoolhouse in both the grand ballroom and upper floor, along with a commercial kitchen. “We are looking forward to becoming the new stewards of this iconic landmark,” said Craig Leuthold, who co-founded Maryhill Winery in 1999 with his wife, Vicki. “The Hollywood Schoolhouse, like Maryhill, is a family-owned business with deep roots in the community. And the location is just as breathtaking as our other Washington tasting rooms.”
The tasting room is expected to open late fall/early winter of 2019. Maryhillwinery.com.
