Meet Korean BBQ Opens in Seattle

It’s no surprise that the flavorful cuisine of Korea has become so popular, so it’s with eager appetites we welcome Meet Korean BBQ, recently opened in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. Described as “Meat + Fire + Fermentation,” chef Heong Soon Park’s restaurant features marinated cuts of premium meats (prime Angus, American Wagyu) grilled and served at the table, along with custom sauces and seasonal banchan or small side dishes, typically made up of fermented vegetables, meant to complement and balance out the meat’s richness. Along with traditional bulgogi, bibimbap, and galbi, the menu will have modern twists on beef carpaccio and tartare, as well as Korean-style fried chicken. Located at 500 E. Pike St.
