Métier Brewing Company owner Rodney Hines and co-founder Todd Herriot are committed to racial and social justice while supporting the community of local makers and creatives. This dedication is reflected in the Métier name, which translates to “one’s calling.”
The company is entering its third year of brewing unique and award-winning beers, and its newest release — the Precious Black Energy (PBE) IPA — comes just in time for Black History Month.
True to the calling of many devoted Northwest hop-heads, Precious Black Energy is described as a “dry and effervescent IPA, bursting with aromas of peaches and dragonfruit, with a crisp finish.” With a bold sharpness of hop cone flavor with tropical notes, PBE pairs nicely with rich winter comfort foods to refresh and invigorate the palate.
Along with vibrant flavor, the PBE is packaged with the striking artwork of Seattle artist Creative Lou, who designed the can in his signature style of dramatic juxtaposition of shape, silhouette, and color.
You can purchase cans of Precious Black Energy through Métier’s online store for pick-up, or visit its Woodinville taproom to select beers or growler fills on-site. Their kid- and pet-friendly taproom is also available for limited, reservation-only patio/open-air seating on Thursdays through Sundays.
