The Museum of Pop Culture will reopen to the public Sept. 18.
The MoPOP closed following Gov. Jay Inslee’s Stay Home, Stay Healthy orders that went into effect in March. Since then, MoPOP staff have made several health and safety modifications to the museum experience which include requiring masks, frequent cleanings, and providing styluses for use on touchscreens.
Upon reopening, MoPOP’s days of operations will be reduced to Fridays through Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Purchasing tickets in advance will be required in order to maintain its 25 percent limit. Tickets are now available at MoPOP.org.
MoPOP members will be offered the exclusive chance to visit before MoPOP reopens to the public during Member Days Sept. 12 to 15.
“Thank you to our entire MoPOP community for the support the last several months. We can’t wait to see you soon!” MoPOP said in a release.
