Mt. Bagel

People are going gaga over Mt. Bagel’s chewy carbs with cream cheese. There is no physical store — just a website. And if you can’t place an order, it’s because its sold out. “I’ve been a baker in Seattle since 2007. Up until a few years ago, I’d never made a bagel. I kind of chalked them up to being a mysterious niche bread that only tasted good in New York for whatever reason,” Roan Hartzog writes on his website. “The turning point was after I ate an incredible bagel (yes, made in Brooklyn) and thought, ‘Why is this so good, and why can’t I find one in Seattle?’” Go to his website to place an order — and good luck!
