Afternoon tea: Trellis
Enjoy a traditional afternoon tea at Trellis in Kirkland’s Heathman Hotel. Sip on warm tea paired with treats by pastry chef Sandra Watson. Enjoy sweets like Madeleines, savory items like deviled eggs and, of course, scones with blackberry jam. Pinkies are up noon-4pm Thursday-Sunday. Make a reservation at 425.284.5900.

Garden Wine Room: Café Juanita
The award-winning Café Juanita feels more like a warm home but also can be a backdrop for an unforgettable dinner party in the private dining space — the Garden Wine Room — located on the lower level. It holds up to 30, and owner and chef Holly Smith creates the menus.

Whether you’re planning a company party or a gathering with friends and family, the industrial urban-cool Cast Iron Studios makes for a savvy holiday venue. The large grand hall can seat 128 (more
if it is a standing cocktail-style party) and the intimate private room can seat between 20 and 60.

Holiday Celebration Dinners: The Herbfarm Restaurant
A nine-course dinner paired with carefully selected wines isn’t just a meal at The Herbfarm — it’s an unforgettable experience. Rated as one of the top restaurants in the country, The Herbfarm creates culinary magic with fresh ingredients from local farmers, foragers, cheesemakers, wineries and fishermen. It offers the Thanksgiving-themed Harvest Table from November to early December and The Holly and the Ivy for December. For larger groups a private dining room is available.

Salish holiday tea: Salish Lodge & Spa
Executive chef Steven Snook created a special tea time menu that includes roast beef sandwiches, macarons, a frangipane tart and more. There’s also an overnight Holiday Breakfast in Bed package available November and December.
