Woodinville Whiskey Company has been expanding its portfolio of whiskey as well as its distillery, increasing its production and moving its tasting room to the outdoors to allow for guests to sip spirits under a covered tent. One of its standout whiskeys is the Woodinville Port Finish Bourbon, which is a Flagship 5-year bourbon finished in ruby port barrels, giving it an added richness of berry and dark chocolate. There also is a Woodinville Bourbon Whiskey gift pack, which includes a bottle of Flagship Straight Bourbon Whiskey, two bottles of bourbon barrel-aged maple syrup, and two Glencairn crystal whiskey glasses. Shipping is free within Washington.
Heritage Distilling Company appreciates that variety is the spice of life, and that goes for its whiskey as well as its gin and vodka, all available for purchase online. Create an at-home tasting flight of six different whiskey and ryes, or a combination set of multiple spirits and flavor themes. It also has cocktail kits with all the fixings, as well as the clever Bar in a Jar kits, which include drinks for two packaged in a mason jar. Shop online, or visit one of the open tasting rooms for a patio cocktail and to shop in person.
Wildwood Spirits Company will be releasing two new whiskeys in May, with pre-orders opening in March for those wanting to get first dibs on these premiering spirits. The Professor is an Irish-style whiskey made with Washington-grown wheat and malt, aged three years in barrels that housed the award-winning Dark Door bourbon. The second whiskey originates from The Professor but is then racked into a barrel that aged both its bourbon and specialty coffee beans, so this variation will have the deepened notes of mocha and vanilla reminiscent of a toasty espresso.
