Redmond Lights at Downtown Park

Starting Dec. 4, Downtown Park in Redmond will be glowing and open for socially distanced self-tours. Due to COVID-19, the tree lighting and performance booths are canceled.

“As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact our opportunities to gather, spreading light, hope, and joy in the community is even more important,” said Mayor Angela Birney. “This year will showcase art and light installations that will help connect our community, even when we are physically distanced.”

In addition to the business window and residential light displays, a coloring contest sponsored by Redmond Town Center will give an opportunity for kids of all ages to decorate their own storefront window on paper. Mailboxes at Redmond Town Center will receive the entries, and winners for each age category will be announced on Jan. 4. redmond.gov/redmondlights
