Emerald Heights Retirement Community in Redmond is set to break ground June 14 on the last piece of its $60 million improvement plan – the new Trailside building will house 43 independent living units. The three-story apartment unit is set to be finished next summer and it’s already 86 percent pre-sold.
Emerald Heights is a 38 acre continuing care retirement community and home to 450 residents. There are 290 independent living apartments and cottage-style homes and 56 assisted living studio apartments and a skilled nursing center for people 62 and older.
The retirement community, nestled on Education Hill, boasts restaurant-style dining, a nature trail, a garden railroad, complete with replicas of historic Redmond buildings and floor plans to fit all sorts of different lifestyles.
