Salt & Straw Opens Its Ice Cream Flavor ‘Vault’

Salt & Straw is celebrating its 10-year anniversary by bringing back some of its top favorite flavors from its “vault” of recipes.

The Flavor Vault Series will be available in-store and for online purchase for a limited time (Feb. 5-March 18). Each selection represents memorable moments in the brand’s history and its continued innovation in flavors and ingredients.

The Flavor Vault Series includes:

  • Salted Caramel Cupcake

Inspired by cupcakes from Cupcake Royale in Seattle, this was the first ice cream Salt & Straw made using a baked good stir-in.

  • Cinnatopia Cinnamon Bun

One of the most successful flavors from the beloved Student Inventors series.

  • Strawberry Tres Leches

One of the first classic flavors created specifically for the San Francisco Bay Area market.

  • Brown Ale & Bacon

This was the first ice cream created in partnership with a brewery and was one of the first eight flavors ever created — originally served when Salt & Straw first started as a cart.

  • Lemon Cheesecake Crumble (v)

Appeared on the first-ever Vegandulgence® menu.
