Next time you’re heading to a Seattle Seahawks game, or simply showing up to tailgate with the 12s, stop by the new American Express Experience near CenturyLink Field.
Located at 165 South Jackson Street, the space emanates pre-game excitement and a Seahawks-blue glow. Inside, fans can meet a different legendary player before each home game.
Last Sunday, fans met Steve Largent, a Hall-of-Fame wide receiver who played for the Seahawks for more than a decade. The guest for the next home game on Oct. 7 is still to be announced, but previous meet-and-greet players include Shaun Alexander, Cliff Avril, Sidney Rice, and Walter Jones.
The American Express space also features several Instagrammable props, including a gigantic throne made of footballs and tiny Seahawks helmets and a mural on one wall inspired by Seattle artist Angelina Villalobos.
Visitors can purchase new Seahawks gear at a pop-up Pro Shop, sign up for “frictionless” entry into the stadium with CLEAR, and sample free snacks from a local merchant.
Having an American Express card is not necessary to enter the space, but it does provide discounts inside the stadium, as well as other perks.
