Celebrate Day of the Dead Weekend with Poquitos

Celebrate the Day of the Dead weekend at Poquitos in Bothell. From Oct. 31 to Nov. 2, Poquitos will be getting in the spirit with fun activities for all ages. Kids are invited to decorate their very own Day of the Dead face mask; on Nov. 1 there will be face painting from 5–8 p.m.; and on Halloween, trick-or-treaters are welcome to stop by for candy. As for the adults, there will be a special Day of the Dead margarita available. While you’re there, you can vote for your favorite Poquitos’ employee decorated pumpkin.

Plan Ahead: Unleash your Inner Rebel at the Washington Distillers Festival

Come sip on spirits at school! You heard us right. Unleash your inner rule-breaker at the Washington Distillers Festival at McMenamins Anderson School in Bothell. On Nov. 15, the Anderson School will host an evening to showcase handcrafted spirits from local Washington distillers. There will be a silent auction, which will include exciting prizes like private distillery tours, overnight stays, and limited-edition bottles. Tickets are $35 and include 10 tasting tokens.
